Title: SOPA Protest
Starting at Midnight EST IPTVTorrent will be blacked out in protest of the Stop On-line Piracy Act (SOPA) that is circulating in the US Congress. The site is planned to be blacked out until 4pm EST January 18th.
I apologize for the inconvenience but it is to protect sites such as this that redistribute the much enjoyed content that we carry. |

Title: Rule Update
Due to 2 attempts to upload unauthorized content (copyrighted and/or password protected) we were forced to update our Rules policy.
Uploading of copyrighted material that you do not hold rights to will instantly have the file(s) removed and your account blacklisted. That means you will be able to login but will have absolutely no access to anything on the site.
Password protected or archive files will be removed and you will be given ONE and ONLY ONE warning. Any further attempts will result in your account being blacklisted.
If a torrent is uploaded and doesn't have a description or seems questionable it will be reviewed by the Staff. If it's deemed unauthorized it will be removed. If deemed ILLEGAL it will be removed, account blacklisted, and e-mail and IP reported to the proper authorities.
We do not intend to end up like IsoHunt or Pirate Bay. Our site is dedicated to Creative Commons. If there is copyrighted material and the owner is wiling to sign an agreement to distribute without prosecution then we will gladly host it. But only upon full proof of ownership and review by legal consultation.
We welcome all members and content as long as it is within the guidelines and policy of this site.

Title: we have not left
I know some of you are probably wondering if the staff ever checks in and the answer is 'yes we do'. Though it may not be as often as some of you would like and expect, but we do our best.
I have been on what you can call an extended leave since the site launched. I recently changed job which has also changed my hours. But with the change there is now the opportunity for me to put more time into getting more shows added and possibly a dedicated seed host to help with our seeding issues.
It will take some time and we ask that you bear with us as we grow.
When the site first started I never imagined more than a couple dozen members. But to see over a thousand in less than a year...WOW!
I hope to see the number continue to grow as we grow. But we can't make the site grow without the help of our members. So pass the word around. Bring new members, donate to keep the site going, and don't throw old hardware away. We accept all sorts of donations. Although we do ask that if its computer related that it be a P4-era or newer and in working condition. If its something that can be hacked, I'm sure Corrosion may find a use for it.
Now, let's get the word out and let everyone know that we aren't just another torrent site but THE torrent site for IPTV.
